Self-catering Eco Cabin in Mid Wales
River Cabin, with its garden overlooking the millstream and the beech woods beyond, provides a simple base to relax, enjoy and explore the local area. Hay-on-Wye, the Upper Wye Valley, the Radnor Hills, and the Brecon Beacons National Park are all close by. This is a great area for outdoor activities such as hill walking, cycling and canoeing.

The traditional stone cabin, in an old cider orchard, sleeps 2
people comfortably or up to 4 if you don't mind sharing! It has one
bedroom, a cosy kitchen/lounge, a sunny dining porch, and a shower
room with toilet and hand basin.
It is simply furnished with rustic, hand made furniture, plenty of hooks and shelves for your personal belongings.
[Please note: since this video was made, we have moved from the adjacent mill to nearby Glasbury village.]
There are some fantastic on and off road bike rides in the area and if you bring your own bikes (or rent them locally) you are welcome to lock them in our eco-friendly wooden bike store with living sedum roof. We have lots of ideas for local and car free activities while you are here.
