Facilities & Info
The kitchen/lounge has a small belfast sink, combie microwave oven, two ring induction hob and fridge with small freezer compartment, electric kettle and toaster, cutlery & crockery and basic cooking equipment, but no fancy electrical gadgets. There is a gas coal-effect heating stove, fold out table, a small sofa and radio – there is no TV, but there is Wi-fi.

From the slate-floored dining porch, with its locally made rustic
table and bench seating, glazed oak doors open onto a flagstone
patio and enclosed riverside garden which catches the morning sun.
The garden has a bistro table & chairs, stone fire pit &
BBQ. The flying deck overhanging the mill stream is the perfect
location for morning coffee or sundowners watching the setting sun
sparkling on the waterfalls. If you fancy an evening sitting around
a campfire toasting marshmallows we have bags of locally sourced
logs for sale.
The bedroom, with its stripped pine floor, provides flexible sleeping options with a double bed and a bunkbed. Duvets, bedlinen and towels are supplied; although, if you are wanting to keep the cost down, we can make a reduction of £6 per person per stay if you bring your own duvets/sleeping bags and towels.

The solar panels on the roof help provide green electricity and
water is drawn from aquafers 180 feet underground with no chlorine
or chemical treatment necessary.
If you bring your own bikes (or rent them locally) you are welcome to lock them in our eco-friendly wooden bike store with living sedum roof.
We have developed an Environmental Policy as part of our effort to minimise our impact on the environment and ask our guests to support us in this endeavour including recycling and using energy responsibly. We have lots of ideas for local and car free activities while you are here.
